Faith Formation Program (CCE)

The Faith Formation program at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church seeks to partnership with parents and the community of St. Hyacinth to provide developmentally appropriate and authentically Catholic learning experiences so that children and youth may possess the knowledge and skills necessary to live an active, Catholic, Christian life.

The Faith Formation office at St. Hyacinth parish exists to assist parents in bringing their children closer to God and His Church. We have programs for   Kindergarten to 10th grade. We also prepare students to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

“At the heart of catechists we find a Person, the Person of Jesus Christ ……Catechists aims at putting people in communion with Jesus Christ” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, #426).

Catechists / Volunteers

The Faith Formation program is always looking for Catechist and Volunteers to instruct on the faith and help with various aspects of formation. All adults are required to complete the Safe Envionment Online Training and Background Check.
